Wayne was born and raised in Gary, Indiana.  In 1999 Wayne opened the doors to Addiction and Behavioral Counseling Services to assist those in need of treatment.  Over the years Wayne has assisted clients in achieving their sobriety goals through counseling, AA and spirituality.

Susan Schoon, MS, LCSW, MAC, LCAC--Program Director and Licensed Clinical Social Worker  (Over 40 years experience)

Susan has been on staff with ABCS since 2000.  Susan received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Loyola University in Social work.  Susan started her career with South Lake Mental Health where she ran a triage unit and a 20 bed facility.  Susan then embarked onto a bigger task with Methodist hospital and has continued to serve her clients in a group setting and in individual sessions. Susan specializes in addictions, PTSD, anger management and co-occurring disorders. 
      

​Tracy Noorlag, MS, LAC, CADAC II-Program Coordinator and Counselor (over 8 years experience)

Born and raised in Illinois, Tracy moved to NW Indiana when she was 23 years old and is a resident of Crown Point, Indiana.  Tracy has been on staff with ABCS since 2012.  Prior to starting with ABCS Tracy worked for DuPage County and Regional Mental Health.  Tracy graduated from NYIT with her undergraduate degree in psychology, received her post graduate certification in Contemporary Theory in Addictive Behavior, and her Masters degree of Science in Addiction Counseling from Capella University.  Tracy has always had a passion for helping people and continues to do so as an addiction counselor and interventionist. 


​​Ashlyn Paris, BA- Counselor in training and graduate of Purdue University with a concentration on Human Development and Family Services, minor in Psychology. Previous intern.


Jorge Quiles-Reyes, BA - Counselor in training and graduate of Purdue University with a concentration on Human Development and Family services, with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. Previous intern.
